Truck Driving Instructor

Location: Hesperia, CA

Pay: $50,000 - $58,000/year

We're seeking a skilled Truck Driving Instructor to train, evaluate, and support drivers and personnel within the pneumatic trucking industry.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication & customer service skills
• Knowledge of US DOT and HazMat regulations
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Understanding of pneumatic trucking & basic recruiting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Prior commercial driving experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and evaluate drivers and staff
  • Conduct behind-the-wheel drive tests
  • Provide silo training
• Develop, update, and deliver training programs
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety adherence
• Track new hire progress and review Ride-A-Long Reports
• Assist with recruiting and hiring
• Maintain training records, materials, and reports
• Support departments with training data and needs
• Travel as required and report major issues to Senior Recruiter

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Light bending, stooping, and stair climbing
• Work in outdoor conditions
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends/holidays

Technology Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
